About the resource

Sources and editorial policy

How clinical references, official geography and contact information are handled.

Professional sources and limits

The individual guides identify their source material, including Canadian dental organizations, Ontario’s regulator, public-health services and relevant specialist organizations. Source addresses are provided as plain text. International guidance is distinguished from Ontario practitioner or facility requirements.

A draft regulatory consultation document is not presented as a binding current standard. Treatment decisions remain individual: suitability, imaging, grafting, anesthesia, timing, medicines and aftercare require assessment. No fictional success percentages, fees or lifetime promises are used.

Questions rather than prescriptions

The guide is written to support understanding and a useful professional conversation. It does not select a surgical technique for a reader, prescribe medication, diagnose an implant problem from a symptom or instruct a person to tighten a component.

Where serious warning signs are relevant they appear in the subject discussion. The site does not position itself as an emergency dentist service. Contact the treating team or appropriate urgent services when a changing problem needs assessment.

Official geographic records

The functional map is rendered from City-published municipal and neighbourhood geometry, not a schematic Toronto outline. It uses a conformal projection and includes all 158 City social planning neighbourhoods. Geographic inputs were retrieved on 31 October 2026.

The postal crosswalk uses 97 named FSA polygons in the City-published service, excluding one blank record. Tiny overlap slivers are omitted. Postal and neighbourhood boundaries do not coincide, and the lookup does not validate a complete postal address. City data is attributed under the applicable Open Data Licence — Toronto; no City endorsement is implied.

Practice information and changes

Canary Dental is the only practice contact in this build. The name, address and phone were checked against its public contact page. No other practice is included. No commercial agreement or specialist qualification is asserted.

A directory update should alter the actual contact listing while preserving the educational subject structure. Any future sponsorship should be identified accurately. Source changes, clinical developments and coverage rules require fresh checks rather than an automatic date change.
